Sararia Mind Map Privacy policy

Last updated

This policy explains what data Sararia Mind Map handles and where it goes. In short: your maps are stored in your account so they follow you across devices, only you can see them, and they are never sold or used for ads.

Account data

You sign in with Google or with an email address, through Neon Auth. Sararia Mind Map stores your name, email address, and the session that keeps you signed in. With email sign-in, the password is stored hashed, never the password itself.

Your maps

Map titles, nodes, notes, colors, and emoji are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in Singapore, and the app runs on Vercel. Each map belongs to one account, and only that account can open it. Maps left in your browser by the earlier no-account version are moved into your account the next time you sign in, then removed from the browser.

The demo map at /demo works without signing in, and nothing you type there is saved.

Stored in your browser

A cookie remembers your language, and your browser keeps your light or dark mode and recently used emoji. None of these are sent anywhere else.

Analytics

Sararia Mind Map uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. Your maps are never part of it.

What Sararia Mind Map does not do

  • No ads, no selling or sharing of data.
  • No AI processing of your maps.

Deleting your data

You can delete any map from the map list. To delete your account and everything in it, write to the address on the contact page.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Questions can be sent to the address on the contact page.
