Pakaya Privacy policy
Last updated
This policy explains what data Pakaya handles and where it goes. In short: your portfolio stays on your device, and nothing is sent to Sararia.
Data stored on your device
Everything you enter (assets, holdings, monthly values, allocation targets, and settings) is stored in a database on your device. Sararia does not operate a server for Pakaya and never receives this data.
Market prices
To fill in market values automatically, Pakaya requests prices from Yahoo Finance using the ticker symbols of your assets (for example BBCA.JK). Only the symbol is sent. Your quantities, values, and other portfolio details are not. These requests are subject to Yahoo's own privacy policy.
Google Drive backup (optional)
If you choose to back up, Pakaya asks you to sign in with Google and requests one permission:
drive.appdata: access to a hidden app-specific folder in your Google Drive.
Pakaya uses this folder only to store and retrieve your backup file. It cannot see any other files in your Drive. The backup is sent directly from your device to your Google account; it never passes through Sararia.
Pakaya's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Pakaya does not do
- No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no selling or sharing of data.
- No account with Sararia.
Deleting your data
- On your device: clear the app's data or uninstall Pakaya.
- Backup: delete it from inside the app, or in Google Drive go to Settings → Manage apps → Pakaya → Delete hidden app data. You can revoke Pakaya's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
